The 80th Academy Awards ceremony was held on February 24, 2007 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood and hosted by The Daily Show host Jon Stewart; being his second time. He had already hosted the 78th Oscars ceremony in 2005.

The 82nd edition of the Academy Awards was held on March 7, 2010 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood and hosted by Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin. This is the third time for Steve Martin, preceded by the 73rd and 75th editions in 2001 and 2003 respectively.
