3. When the edit profile page opens, click the Personal Info option above, and check or uncheck the boxes Do not display xx publicly located under each option you want to keep private or not.

You can check how many points you have so far by checking the My points section, just press that option in your left bar; once there you can see a detailed table with all the info you're looking for about your accumulated points. If you check your account profile you may see a short list with the points accumulated so far.
